About me

My life’s work has revolved around being the best mother and nurse I can possibly be. I became a Licensed Vocational Nurse(LVN) soon after graduating high school and chose to focus my career on elderly and wound care. Through the years of watching my patient’s gradually deteriorate with sometimes very little quality of life. I began wondering why the industry focused so much on medicating through the pain vs. focusing on the cause of it. For many adults old and young, answers become hard to find as to why our body’s start to weaken and what we can do to stop it. Through my journey in CrossFit I’ve learned how to strengthen my body, as well as my mind. Mental toughness has proven to be just as important as the physical.

I became CrossFit Level I Certified in November of 2008 with a plan to focus my coaching on helping the community learn how to maintain the best quality of life for many years to come. This blog will touch on many aging and female topics. As well as many other interesting tips and thoughts for people of all fitness levels to enjoy.

Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions or suggestions you may have.
